Members of the STIAA Board of Trustees recently voted for two vacated seats in the board. The freed seats were due to the resignation of Ms. Maggie Rillera and Dr. Darwin Jaime, who both felt that it is the best time to give other members the opportunity to serve and lead the association.
A call for nominations from its members was made to fill in the vacated seats. STIAA received a total of four (4) nominations from different alumni of different STI campuses. The existing three (3) trustees, Mr. Engelbert L. de Guzman, Ms. Janina B. Jayme, and Mr. Hernan S. Alar, voted among the nominees. As a result, the following names were voted to complete the STIAA Board of Trustees:
- MARIA JO-RIZ H. SALANDANAN - STI COLLEGE ORTIGAS - CAINTA
- SHERWIN NIÑO M. MACALINTAL - STI COLLEGE SOUTHWOODS
To date, the STIAA BOT members will be having their special meeting ASAP to set schedule of their first planning session together to further improve STIAA’s services and conceptualize programs for the benefit of STIAA members.
